Datasets used on the paper ``Us and Them: Adversarial Politics on Twitter'' This data comprises basic information about tweets made by and in response to political stakeholders preceding the 2016 US presidential election and the UK ``Brexit'' referendum. Tweet content and author names are omitted for privacy and term compliance, but links are given so they can be easily retrieved from Twitter. In each case, the file ending in -org contains the original teets from the political stakeholders. The file ending in -conv contains replies to the original tweets. The files are formatted as TSVs with the following fields: timestamp: time and date when tweet was first posted post_link: can be used to access the original tweet, if still available The data spans from 2016-01-01 to 2016-2016-11-15 in the US Election case, and from 2016-02-01 to 2016-10-01 in the Brexit case. Tweets were crawled between 2016-11-18 and 2017-01-06.
